1. BIBLE FAITH HELPS US TO LIVE IN THE REALITY OF OUR JUSTIFICATION
Romans 4:25
[25]Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
What a joy to know this truth, that Christ have already delivered us from every penalty of sin that was against us from the beginning.
However, It is by faith we live in the freedom we now have in Christ.
We live the life of Bible faith by confessing what Christ have done for us day and night.
2. GOD IS WELL PLEASED BY OUR ABSOLUTE FAITH IN HIM
Hebrews 11:6
[6]But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
God is always moved whenever we show strong convictions that He will do what He says He will do, in our heart and with our mouth.
Our absolute reliance on God’s word, always attracts His attention when we express it with our action.
Alternatives, always weakens our faith in God. He is not well pleased when we have alternative.
3. WE REIGN IN LIFE BY HAVING FAITH IN OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IN CHRIST
Romans 5:17
[17]For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.
Faith in our righteousness helps us to be bold to walk in our authority as believers (kings and priest) in Christ.
Faith in our righteousness helps us to see ourselves as having a right standing with God. No more inferiority complex or guilt.
The past is immaterial. It’s a new day. Glory!
4. WE RESIST THE DEVIL AND HIS WORKS BY OUR FAITH
James 4:7
[7]Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
1 Peter 5:9
[9]Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
We submit to God by submitting to His word and to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
His word imparts faith in us to oppose or with stand the devil.
In resisting the devil we have to do it steadfastly.
5. FAITH IS OUR HANDLE ON WHAT WE CAN’T SEE
Heb.11.1 – The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see. [MSB]
Faith way is the ONLY Bible way to handle the unseen realities of hope and bring them to reality.
Faith is a firm trust in God’s word. It gives substance to hope. It is also the evidence that we would get what we want from God.
